Name: Parth Patel

Position: Quality Assurance Developer

Parth, Rafflebox’s newest student intern, has joined our Innovation & Engineering department as a Quality Assurance Developer.

You can usually find Parth creating new features and add-ons for the Rafflebox platform that allow charities and non-profits to maximize their fundraising efforts. Parth is also on deck to resolve potential logical or technical issues that may arise and can often be found running quality control testing to ensure all features are working properly for Rafflebox users.

Parth’s favorite part of the job is working on new features for the company, allowing him hands-on experience on all sides of development — both front and back end.

“It’s what most interested me about working at Rafflebox for my student placement,” says Parth. “The opportunity to work on some of the newest technology available is really cool, and the wide variety and scope of work is teaching me a lot.”

One thing you may not know about Parth is that he lived in Kenya until the age of 18. He now lives in Halifax, NS where he plans on staying after he finishes school.
